Clever Titles for Movies, TV Shows, Books, etc.

I say The Powerpuff Girls has just about the cleverest episode titles of any series ever made: “Insect Inside;” “Mommy Fearest;” “Abracadaver;” “Ice Sore;” “Cat Man Do;” “Mime For a Change;” “Slave the Day;” “Pet Feud;” “Something’s a Ms.;” “The Mane Event;” just to name a few. But now, the writers have outdone themselves. The title of the episode premiering on June 28 is "Forced Kin."

So what are some of your favorite titles for TV shows, movies, books, plays and other works?

I like the Power Puff Girls!

Somebody say Powerpuff Girls? Don’t forget “Geshund Fight”- it took me months to figure out what it meant, but when I did…

Okay, well, I think “Frasier” does a good job of theirs, particularly with all of the little title cards. Some of my favorite titles: “A Tsar is Born,” “The Apparent Trap,” “Whine Club,” and “Dark Side of the Moon” to name a few.

And of course, “The Simpsons,” featuring titles such as “Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment,” “The Springfield Files,” and “The Summer of 4 Ft 2.”
