I just heard on the radio this morning (11/26/01) that Congress has not passed a bill to make cloning of humans illegal AND it presently resides at the State level where some States have outlawed it. Is this correct? I swore Congress outlawed it several years ago when it wqas quite apparent that scientists were getting too close to cloning a human. What’s the scoop?
Very confused by the press - which you can depend on them to be undependable anyhow
I haven’t found anything yet offhand on which states may have banned human cloning, although Massachusetts, Missouri, and California have had legislation proposed.
