Thanks, I meant that specific strip in particular, what was the realisation the engineer was supposed to have had? It’s probably something really obvious but I’m not sure.
And also I didn’t realise the sentient machines were an accidental result on that particular colony world, I thought it was in the human sphere in general. Thanks, that explains a lot!
