I’m immigrating to Ontario in May. I’m taking notes! I wish they called hoodies “bunnyhugs” in Ontario. 
Ohhhhhhhhhh yeah.
I’ve tried to block it out. But both my parents actually own all three articles of clothing. I just really try to discourage them from wearing them at the same time.
Oh my god it’s all coming back to me now. I think I had a couple of those to go with my ski pants when I was a wee one.
Does everyone call them ski pants? The warm puffy pants you wear over your normal pants in winter.
They don’t call them bunnyhugs out here in Vancouver, either, as far as I know. But most people know the term, I think, so you won’t confuse anyone.
I miss my pair of these. 
We moved and I don’t know WHAT happened to mine but they looked like they got chewed up by a dog.. and we have no pets!
Always been a hoodie to me, Dad has always had a lined jean jacket that he wears in winter, I still have a pair of Sorels but they’re too clunky for driving..
Can’t recall ever hearing ginch or gonch in the wild though I must’ve learned it by osmosis because I did know what it was before.
Nah. Down where I live in Oli-Poo, I drive about with my ski boots on (and occasionally with my helmet and goggles on), so I’m not one to make any digs at folks in Current River. But I would ask, however, that you folks please stop burning down our canoe club in Current River.
Yes, but in polite company (such as Grandma), they were usually, “Kodiaks,” “work boots,” or “CSAs”.
Oh I had a bunch of jokes to make about the West Hotel and “improving” Simpson street, but ahhh, on second thought maybe making jokes like that to a lawyer would be A Very Bad Idea.
I like seeing paddlers on the lake. I hate dragon boat weekend though, although it should be better this year since I don’t work at the large nearby health facility anymore.
When I first moved here, all I could afford was those places on Simpson, so instead, I set up a tent in a field up on Mt. McKay.
I’m not doubting what you called it Larry Mudd, but did you know that style of jacket is alson known as a Mackinaw?

When I wear it to hockey, Frenchie calls me le bucheron. And when I wore it a few years ago to take the kids out halloweening an old-timer (at a senior’s logde) commented on my nice mack. Told me everyone had them when he was a kid. ISTR he said he was from the Vancouver.
Now I know Macintoshes from my Noddy books. Caused a little confusion though because this was one of my favourite candies from Mac’s.
