The very first person I identified gave a joke clue. Not sure I’ve seen that before. (Of course, the freebie clue identified two, or that wouldn’t have been possible)
I just did yesterday’s (aug 31) and the third clue revealed was also the last used. They didn’t usually stick around that long, especially in “easy”.
Do you ever have that thing happen where you go down a long logic chain and land on a correct answer, but somehow click the other answer? That happens to me maybe once a week.
If by long chain of logic, you mean a direct statement or chain of 1-2 statements, yes, frequently
Yes, yes i do.
And night before last, i was working on a logic chain, but accidentally opened the “criminal or innocent” screen. That happens to me all the time when I’m futzing with the corners. But what happened that night is that instead of dismissing the screen, i accidentally clicked one of the statuses. 
I counted that as a moral “all correct” even though it obviously shows a bad guess.
(that was yesterday’s, but i did it after midnight.)

I guess i made up for it today. I made two real logic errors, but they both happened to hit the same square.

I was stuck for a long time on the fourth clue, and then I made a mistake based on “one person on the edges has three criminal neighbors”, because I thought there was only one person that could be.
