CNN anchor Bernard Shaw dead at 82
He died yesterday. He was CNN’s first chief anchor, and I remember him covering the first gulf war. He was a good reporter. And he was a Corporal in the Marine Corps too.

I found some Marine Corps related photos of him. I’m still trying to find his boot camp photo.
He served 4 years. Was he wounded? Wasn’t the regular stint in 6 year increments?
Regular enlistments were usually four years.
