Because I’m looking at the top stories on their main site, and I’m not cherry picking these:

There’s one, maybe two actual news stories in that list.
OK, you win. Trump is The Most Trustworthy President Ever. Every word that comes out of his mouth is The Absolute Truth, especially the ones that contradict facts. Trump is The One True Messiah who will lead America to Prosperity For All White Christian Americans, and protect us all from the Bad People. I promise to call the Authorities to report anyone I see who so much as raises an eyebrow to Trump’s Holy Writ, so that they may be Dealt With.

Did you actually read the story? They had something like eight primary sources – including the judge who would have had to issue the order and several other who would have to have known about it – say it wasn’t true. Not “no comment” or “I cannot talk about current whatever” – they said “this didn’t happen.”
Exactly what level of investigation does this not count as?

A statement from an Obama’s spokesmodel is not the same thing as a statement directly from Obama. Obama isn’t that difficult to find. Even CNN could do it, if they wanted to.

If the media did a better job, and people trusted the news media outlets more, it wouldn’t be necessary to speculate as to what might have happened, and in what order things occurred. All sides reject various news sources because they don’t trust those news sources.
I’m also in favor of investigations. This has become a major national/political question. Let’s find out who said what, and when. The other option is to waste a lot of time speculating on what might, or might not, have happened.
That’s just foolish.
It took eight, or nine, investigations to recover the 30,000 emails Hillary had deleted after she had been requested not to delete those emails. As it turned out, they only had to ask Anthony “Cee Mi” Weiner if his wife, an Hillary aide, Huma had stored a copy on Mr Weiner’s floppy.
Obama hasn’t even provided a no comment because none of the news media outlets want to ask him a few simple questions.
Let’s put them all under oath, and find out what actually happened.
Obama doesn’t owe this absurd accusation one word of personal response. When a bully “calls you out,” the only mature, sensible, reasonable response is NO response. The fact that any of Obama’s people commented is more than Trump deserves.
To use my favorite analogy for dealing with people who are trying to pick a fight with you: Trump has jumped down into a mud pit and is baiting Obama to jump down in there, too, and roll around in the mud with him. Trump cannot resist bait because he is a mentally/emotionally challenged toddler, but Obama can because he is a mature man who knows when and if to engage with a bullying bluffer. There is no question that this bullshit Trump is spewing is not worthy of a personal response from Obama. Period.
Why would Obama respond to baseless, evidence free accusations from someone who has been making baseless and evidence-free accusations against him for many years?

No, you aren’t in favor of investigations. When the IRS wanted to investigate whether political organizations were skirting tax laws, you freaked out that the IRS was out to get the Tea Party.

This has nothing to do with what people want to believe or don’t want to believe. Belief doesn’t enter into the equation at all. It’s about events and facts, not wishes or beliefs.
