There are a few posters who periodically feel the urge to open a Pit thread and foam at the mouth about pretty much nothing. Aeschines is one of them. I usually try to picture John Belushi doing his Weekend Update shtick, where he starts out calmly and eventually flips his chair over and disappears. Except Aeschines doesn’t start out calmly.

You raise a good point. The Internet really does need to have multiple websites devoted to news and politics, not just cnn.com. But even if such a thing did exist, how would anyone find it? You just know CNN isn’t going to mention it on their so-called “news” network. Fascist bastards!

I don’t need snooty food critics telling me what I should eat. When I feel hungry, I want the sort of down home goodness that I find in Hormel prepared meal products. Hormel uses only the best ingredients — fresh spices, high quality produce, and the highest grades of beef, pork, and poultry available. That’s why when I think of my childhood, and the wonderful smells from Mother’s kitchen, I get hungry for Hormel. Why so upset over a stupid presidential debate?
