Ok, fair enough. Let’s discuss.
HurricaneDitka, under which circumstances do you believe that “I’m glad someone’s kid died” is an appropriate response?

Chingon didn’t “sling insults at you”. Regardless, I appreciate being un-“you lot”'d.
Did you have an answer to my question?
His kid didn’t die, did she? His kid wasn’t even injured, AFAICT. He wrote, “For the next 2 hours I communicated with her while they waited in a closet in her classroom.” I said he was an asshole deserving of misfortune, such as the emotional turmoil of texting his daughter for two hours while her school was on lockdown. To be clear, his daughter doesn’t deserve any bad thing happening to her, and IMHO probably merits even more sympathy than most kids because she’s got an asshole for a father. But the father, yeah, fuck that guy with a rusty spoon. We crossed the line where I felt it was appropriate somewhere between him saying I’m a sociopath and him saying I don’t have a soul.
ETA: **Revenant Threshold **, is this a clear enough answer to your question?
You know, enough of this. I’m closing it and everyone on both sides should try to do better next time.
