This was hilarious, was this woman really unaware of being trolled in such an obvious way?
The subject was Edward Snowden, but it was undoubtedly about Edward Scissor-hands
Whatever you’re talking about isn’t obvious from scanning the video, and I’m not going to watch it for 3.5 minutes to figure out what the hell you’re on about. Please provide a summary when you make a post with a link in it (especially a video link).
What is it exactly you’re having difficulty with? 
I already explained the problem, so go ahead and read that. Don’t just post a link to a video without explaining what it is.
Also, when it’s a long video like that it helps to note the timecode for the relevant section so people don’t have to watch the full 3.5 minutes to get to whatever you’re talking about (I watched about 30 seconds and then started skipping ahead looking for it and didn’t see it).
I watched it all and got the point, but it only happens after 3 mins 15 seconds.
I agree with Rigamarole - please give us the information to save us wading through a long video just for a single pun.

Trolling was hilarious. The CNN anchor was oblivious and clearly had no idea what Hendren was talking about. She and the producers should be fired.
He did describe the video. It’s literally all his post consists of. The guy pretended to be talking about Snowden, but was really talking about Scissorhands. He trolled the female newsanchor, who seemed completely oblivious.
Generally I dislike having to wait for a video to get to the relevant part, but part of the brilliance of this prank was the slow, subtle way it developed. The prankster starts out lamenting that we ostracized Edward, and it only gradually becomes clear he’s talking about a different one. 
Egads, I hate to agree with BigT, but he’s right. But I understand. It’s such a long 3 and 1/2 minutes. That’s like the space of one hundred tweets you could have read while waiting for the payoff.
Actually, Hendren shifts from talking about Snowden to talking about Edward Scissorhands at around the 2:00 mark.
The funny thing is how completely oblivious the interviewer is. She doesn’t seem to be registering one thing Hendren was saying. She just kept asking her stock questions without a hint she was hearing the answers. She should have done a double-take and said “Wait…what?!”
While it would have been nice for the OP to have described the content in a little more detail, he did describe the point of the video.
I’ve read elsewhere that this happened because CNN wanted to get a particular person for commentary, but got someone else with a similar name instead.
I wonder if she’ll lose her job
