Cocain Mummies

Correct me if I’m wrong. But, Tobacco and cocaine were used as insecticides back in the early museum days, were they not? Furthermore, have follicle tests been done to see if these traces are superficial or ingested and worked through the bloodstream (metabolites). Such tests on Peruvian mummies, for example, showed that the deceased chewed coca leaves in life. Has anything similar been done with the ‘cocaine mummies’?
