Col. Tigh - Canadian? (no spoilers, please)

I just got the DVDs for the first season of the current Battlestar Galactica. One thing that hits me hard is the accent of Michael Hogan, who plays Colonel Tigh. Every time he opens his mouth, I’m hit with a blast of — I’M A CANADIAN! And I keep expecting him to end his sentences with “Eh.”

So, is he Canadian? Hogan’s entry on imdb.com doesn’t specify.

I’d say he’s Canadian, judging from his body of work. Lots of Canadian productions included there. This confirms it.
