…and I liked his pared down quarantine show more. At least he’s happier.
I think that, though his quarantined show got better with time, Colbert does better when he has the live audience, and his guests in-person. He had Rita Moreno on last night, and she was awesome.

Since someone has brought up Mr. Stewart’s strange rant…What was that all about? His foaming-at-the-mouth was the kind of unhinged rant (a la Glenn Beck) that he would have make fun of back in his days at the Daily Show. It was so uncharacteristic that we wondered whether he was just doing a bit, but it was so over the top that we tuned out after a few minutes of it.
I used to be a big Colbert fan but his shows are reruns so often that I’ve switched over to watching Kimmel.
Steven had to laugh for the sake of his old friend. He probably also wondered wtf?
Yeah, it was kinda awkward. Jon starts ranting, and Stephen rolls with it, then there appears to be an edit, and all of a sudden Stephen seems very uncomfortable.
Yeah the Jon Stewart thing was … ill-placed? Something. Did not like.
But, let’s forget all that mess and talk about how much we love Evie
