I knew the movie Main Street was going to be filmed here in Durham, NC, but I had no idea it was starting or who was in it. I found out today that Colin Firth and Orlando Bloom are here. They’re here! There is a thirteen year old fangirl squeeing inside me.
How to meet them??? Hang out more at Target?..site of my only Durham celebrity sighting (Steven Spielberg. Seriously. One of his kids goes to Duke).
Orlando Bloom was filming around the corner from where I work this week, though all I saw was the back of his head. Seriously bad haircut!

Yay! Colin Firth sighted! A pal and I wandered around downtown today and got lucky. We found them filming a scene. Woo hoo!
My friend lives and works in Durham. She posted on Facebook that she saw Colin Firth and Ellyn Burstyn at the Piedmont the other day. And that a few of the stars have been to the restaurant where her husband works…only I can’t remember the name.
No Orlando Bloom sightings reported yet. Hmmmm…
