Any word from movie studios whether this movie will be released or not? It was due to hit theatres the first weekend of October, but it’s plot is so eerily similar to the recent events, I can’t imagine they would still release it.

I also found myself wondering about Spiderman–the trailer shows a helicopter which is being used in a getaway getting caught in a web strung between the two towers. I wonder if they’re going to pull the trailer, or delete those scenes from the movie?

Regarding the Spiderman trailer, my understanding was that the trailer scenes are not from the movie, that they are separate “mini-movies” sort of.

On the other hand, even if this was from the movie, why delete it? To complete the terrorist act and eliminate the WTC from all human memory?

Film World Reaction: In film news there’s been some drastic last minute shuffling. Tim Allen’s black comedy “Big Trouble” about events surrounding a group of people who interact with a suitcase bomb, has been pulled from a September 21st release and is now scheduled for sometime next year. Ed Burns’ romantic flick “Sidewalks of New York” has also been pulled from an opening next Friday and will probably come out late November. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s terrorist thriller “Collateral Damage” and now word Robert Redford’s “The Last Castle” are having their trailers & posters destroyed and look likely to be pushed back (‘Collateral’ its pretty certain). “Spider-Man” is also going to be changing its marketing - the teaser poster and trailer are being pulled from theatres and the Net.
