Anyone have any experience with cleansing such as colon, parasite and liver ? I saw a kit at a store, but decided to research befroe buying…now, I am just plain confused and unsure if any of it is necessary.
In a nutshell here is some of what I read. Expert A says that you need to do a parasite cleanse about twice a year, to rid yourself od for example tape worms that most people have because they rob you of nutrients and drag you down. After the parasite cleanse you should do a liver cleanse
Expert b says no need to ever cleanse parasites because they just come back, and when they die off in your system they release bacteria so its better to just leave em be. This person says it is very helpful however to do a liver cleanse which flushes out stones
any thoughts
I was set to guy the parasite cleanse but after reading the other experts opinion on why its unnecessary, I dont know if i should bother
Prasite cleansing does cause most people to go theough a period of feeling sick, as the parasites die off, so i dont know if i want to go thru feeling sick if its just a waste of time and as expert b says serves no real purpose.
There isnt anything that made me think that…i was browsing in a health store and came across this shelf for colon and parasite cleansing…i remembered my sister went on a colon cleanse before her wedding and she said she felt better after…so i went to read about it and apparently just about everyone has parasites in their intestines if they know it or not, and not all that long ago it was the norm to flush them out with home remedies, i talked to the guy and he said other cultures know how important it is, but then i read the other expert who said its not needed
I cleansed my colon a couple times and felt pretty good afterwards. But that feeling came from the drugs given during the colonoscopies and had nothing to do with how much matter was in my intestines. Also of note, the doctors did not find any parasites inside of me. But maybe I’m just lucky that way.
There is a finite range of types of intestinal parasites, and parasitic infections cause very noticeable, miserable symptoms. There are tests for them and FDA-approved medications to treat them, and both of these need the supervision of a doctor.
These ‘cleansing’ products are nothing more than hogwash. The human body doesn’t need to be detoxified or cleansed. That’s why we come equipped with livers and kidneys. They do that work for us. The stuff you’re seeing advertised is, at best, a harmless placebo. It could just as easily be something harmful, because it’s not like the manufacturer has embraced oversight and regulation.
Some of the stuff that comes out of your colon after a liver flush (goopy greenish balls, so I hear) is actually bile-stained fatty goop that’s derived from the components of the “flush” itself (devotees mistake it for gallstones).
Previous posters are correct - colon and liver “flushes”/“detoxification” are based on the myth that our bodies are loaded down with “toxins”, parasites, horrid years-old bowel deposits, erasers and chalk we ate in first grade etc.
It’s a bunch of nonsense, but it does make for a profitable industry selling people “cleanse kits”, the makings of enemas and various pseudoprofessional services for accomplishing all of this unnecessary and potentially harmful cleaning out of organs that do a fine job on their own, without needing intervention from their clueless humans.
Don’t you think that information is primarily designed to sell the “cleanser”? I always stick with Klein’s Razor when anyone is selling something: “What possible reason could he have to lie?” (Like selling the product).
Americans rarely have any parasites; they do have e. coli and other bacteria, but these are beneficial and you’re better off not messing with them.
I guess what Im wondering is then, in general, are natural remedies such as chamomile for anxiety, are those all a bunch of hype, or is there something to it? I think I might save my money, even if parasites such as tapeworm are in most people, that one article said even if you get them out, they quickly reinhabit anyways. I was reading how some people saw all kinds of disgusting worms come out, one person said how there was aa ten inch worm that came out in her.bowels, …but the die off phase they explain is going to cause ssumptoms of flu, bloating, headache etc while the little buggers die off. The pay off supposedly is after you do the cleansing, you are left feeling with alot more energy, alot of people say excema or skin problems cleared, but hey, then if they end up coming back, why bother? The ghy that talks about liver cleansing said you will pass stones as large as a quarter.
It’s bullshit - the ‘stones’ you pass when performing one of these treatments are congealed fat, or other stuff that is perfectly normal, but rendered weird-looking on sole account that you tipped a load of unusual substances into your digestive system.
If you ingest unusual things, you may produce unusual-looking shit. That’s what these things do. That’s all they do.
It seems clear the OP has been exposed to Wooea healthcleansicus, a nasty parasite known to cause chronic bleeding of the bank account in addition to persistent mental dysfunction.
Is “Naturecleanse” still allowed to advertise? I remember that creepy-looking pencil-mustachiod guy who kept telling you how you had 45 pounds of grease, impacted fecal matter stuck to your intestine walls! “Naturcleanse” would clean you out!
For those of you who feel its hype, does this also carry over to the use of natural medicine and herbal products in general? I have a relatuve who is a R.N. she is pretty much of the school of thought that anything not resembling western medicine is a bunch of bull.
