Color Palette

I’m trying to develop a color palette graphics file for calibrating my printer and scanner. I’m using Paint Shop Pro, and “combining channels” of 3 greyscale images to produce the final color image. This is the best I’ve come up with so far, but it’s lacking in the full range of yellow, cyan and magenta (color variations left to right, brightness top to bottom.

<img src="http://members.aol.com/Toymkr47/palette.bmp> red <img src="http://members.aol.com/Toymkr47/red.bmp> green <img src="http://members.aol.com/Toymkr47/green.bmp> blue <img src="http://members.aol.com/Toymkr47/blue.bmp>

The images above (if my html worked), show how I created it. I’d appreciate hearing any ideas from you gearheads that are interested in this sort of thing. I’ve been using gradiant shading, but am limited to basic shapes (rectangle, circle, oval). I kinda get the idea that what I really need is a sine wave type of thing, but don’t know how to make it. The alternative, creating zillions of little colored boxes, isn’t too appealing.

Thanks, Gary

Ok, it didn’t work, so here’s a link to a page with the images:
