Oh, and I should explain the “Ass-snail” pictures toward the end of the album. One evening, he hopped up on the bed for his usual bedtime petting ritual before settling down atop my head for the night. As he was walking across me to go see Daddy, I said, “What the hell is that???” We investigated, and he had somehow gotten a (fortunately unoccupied) snail shell stuck to his nether regions. I was horrified and hysterically amused at the same time.
