Come on, Texas.. you're looking REALLY stupid now

I don’t think Mattlage claimed he was practicing his aim, just testing his equipment. I don’t know if you’ve ever been dove hunting, but it’s more challenging than quail or pheasant, or duck. Doves are fast and their flight can be erratic. One shot or one box of shells wouldn’t matter…if you can hit them, you can. If Mattlage needs only a shot or two to insure his equipment is in working order, I’ll wager he can hit them.

There is no white winged dove hunting in Crawford, it will be mourning dove only. This info just for the Right Wing dove season mentioned above.

Heh, oh but there will be! There’s not a special whitewing season like you see in South Texas but they’re most definately legal and what we prefer, what with them bein’ such fatties. 12 whitewing or mourners a day of inconsequential mixture, no more than 24 in possession. Me and the A-303 aim to get busy.

Ah, my bad. I didn’t realize you could hunt white wings outside of the special white wing area. We don’t have white wings here, at least I’ve never seen one bagged.
