I really don’t think it’s a big deal. Just a country rube doing what we’d expect a country rube to do. I wouldn’t be suprised if a six of Lone Star were somehow involved. The only part of it that I find disconcerting is that he was firing across the road, kind of a no-no in hunting and gun-safety circles. Will the NRA take a stand against Mr. Mattlage?

That was stupid, but that’s California stupid. Not Texas stupid in which you actually own a gun, and fucking fire it! If you actually see this guy on the news, it is so shocking to see how ignorant, stupid, and ill-spoken he is, and he lives next door to the president.
I wish everyone could be as cool as people from California.
The footage I saw involved a shotgun leaning up against a cooler with an empty case of–brace yourself–Keystone Light on top of the cooler. :eek:

I was going to jump in here and defend the gentleman from the accusation of being stupid for simply owning a gun (and fucking firing it!), but this new information about the Keystone Light has changed my mind.
I wish they all could be California girls.
