Oh, and there’s a sequence where a spacecraft gets water for fuel from Halley’s Comet in Arthur C. Clarke’s 2061: Odyssey Three. The captain is dubious till Heywood Floyd demonstrates the water’s purity by drinking some of it. Unfortunately, the comet water acts like a purgative on poor Floyd!
