OK, you’ve won me over (I’m easy.) And you triggered my memory: the “don’t post thank you” idea was related to the bumping of threads; that is, don’t revive a three-month old thread just to post a “thank you.”
I’ve modified the Etiquette Guideline accordingly. Thanks for the input.
