Community Tackles The Timeless Question...

That’s your question? Not "Why is there a whole course devoted to Who’s the Boss?

Damn, though, Greendale has some kickass classes. Fencing? Wine tasting? Kewl.

Me too! Ned… Ryerson!

This was my least favorite episode of the season. Several early jokes were IMO telegraphed and predictable, and nothing later on really made up for it. But hell, every show is gonna have some stinkers, so I don’t mind too much.

It’s hard to be Jewish in Russia, yo

On the other hand, Britta’s face was not at its best. She looked exceedingly pale and skeletal. In one of the acting class scenes, there was a close two-shot of Britta and Troy talking to each other and I actually gasped at how horrible Britta looked close up.

Stephen Tobolowsky. Always a joy.

Riiight, googling a treatise on Who’s The Boss? would yield the secrets to this thread :rolleyes:

Community is an NBC Thursday night sit-com that takes place at a community college. One of the Characters, Abed - a walking repository of all things pop-culture, took a class on Who’s the Boss? The class was taught by guest-star Stephen Tobolowsky’s character, who also wrote the text book, entitled “Who Indeed.”

On the first day of the class, the teacher tells the class that he’s not a fan, not a groupie, but rather he’s an academic. the then asks the class, “Who’s the boss?” Everyone in the class laughs at the little joke, except Abed, who says, “Angela.” The teacher explains that it was a rhetorical question, and there really was no Boss.

Later, Abed approaches the teacher during office hours, and starts to explain why he thinks that Angela is The Boss. The teacher will have none of it, and tells Abed that maybe he should teach tomorrow’s class.

Cut to Abed standing in front a chalk board filled with his proof (as in mathematical proof) that Angela is The Boss. A screen shot can be seen here. (Sixth picture from the top.)

His name is his passport. Verify him.

Are you serious? You said you’d never heard of a show called “Community,” and you were told to Google it. How is that difficult? Why, for that matter, would you come into a thread about a show called Community and tell us you were unfamiliar with the show?

Oh, right, as if there’s a website with a stupid name like “google”. :rolleyes:

To be fair - usually the Community threads are usually titled like;

The title, “Community Tackles The Timeless Question…” could either refer to the TV show, or a community in general. I watch the show regularly, and then check in the next day to look for the Community thread, so I automatically knew what the OP was talking about. EvilTOJ apparently does not watch the show, and was understandably confused. As were Oakminster and foolsguinea.
