I have a friend who had used his personal smartphone (android) to access his company’s email and calendar through Outlook exchange. His company just pushed out a security feature to all phones connecting to their exchange server, including personal devices. It requires the phones to have a security PIN and if the PIN is incorrectly entered x consecutive times the phone is wiped. Apparently, the company can also wipe the device at will.
My friend has disconnected from the company server, but it’s clear that the “remote phone administrator” permissions are still alive and kicking on his phone. Is there any way to get rid of them short of doing a complete factory reset?
