I’m looking for odds here. How many days of the month can a female conceive with unprotected sex? Say a month of 30 days, she randomly has sex with a man, whats the likelihood of conception? What if we don’t count her period?

This is one of those questions where you will find a variety of answers because what appears to be a simple question is actually fairly complicated.
The short answer is 4 days out of every cycle.
The long answer is that the egg has to be fertilised in the fallopian tube, and it takes anywhere between 24 and 48 hours to make the trip down the tube. The reason why we say that a woman is fertile for 96 hours is because sperm can remain viable in the reproductive tract for aorund 48 hours as well. So a woman is effectively ‘fertile’ if she has sex in the 48 hours during which the egg is in the fallopian tube, or if she has sex up to 48 hours prior to the egg being released. In the latter case the sperm are already waiting for the ovum as soon as it enters the fallopian tube.
So that gives a grand total of 4 days out of cycle in which a woman is potentially fertile. But it has to be noted that sperm deteriorate with time and the odds of conception drops off rapidly as the time the sperm has to wait around increases. As a result many sources will say that there are only 3 or even only 2 fertile days in each cycle. Other sources wil allow for up to 4 days for an egg to move through the fallopian tube giving a potential 6 day window.
As for the likelihood of conception, that relies on far too many factors to be able to caluclate. It’s not as simple as saying that there is a a 1 in 7 chance on any given day. And added to that most conceptions fail to implant or abort before anyone is even aware that a pregancy has occurred.
