My John Hiatt shirt from a few months ago was $20. Shirts at the Flying Karamozov Brothers were $22, and I declined. Mark Knopfler shirts were $25; I didn’t like the design.
A few years ago, I wore a very old (anti-nukes) Bonnie Raitt shirt to a Bonnie Raitt show, and the vendor offered to trade me a new shirt for my ratty old one.
Turns out they were $35, not a horrible price as a memento of one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.
I couldn’t believe they didn’t sing Hotel California, though. I left after the band left the stage. The weird thing was, though, I didn’t have to fight crowds or traffic on the way out. Lucky me!!
