Whilst planning a trip to London, many ticket prices have adult prices, concessions, and children. Here in the States, Concessions usually mean food and drink, but the more I read, I realize that the British usage is something else. What are “Concessions” in British Parlance?
It’s discounts for Pensioners or Students and suchlike.
It means lower prices for certain categories of people. These usually include children, often include elderly people in receipt of retirement pension, quite often include students, and sometimes include those unemployed or otherwise on a very low income.
I hope that helps - at present I have to make brief, abrupt posts and hit send before the CelynCOmputer crashes me offline.
I do hope you have fun planning your trip.
