I have a USB controller that the B-type plug on doesn’t seem to work very well regardless of the cable I plug into it. I think the copper pickups inside the socket have been bent in so that they don’t make full contact with the plug.
Is there some sort of conductive gel or glue that I can use? Or does that have the possibility of creating a short? What exactly would be the name of such a product?
