Inspired by this thread: what corporate logos/names/designs do you find confusing or misleading? For example the Bealls corporate logo , actually until I Wikied it just now I still wasn’t sure if that bell in the middle of the name is just a bell, or is intended to represent an “A”. The ads further confuse the issue, pronouncing the name as “bells” and not “be-alls”. And I know I’ve seen such symbols in the names of other companies, where they are not actually part of the name; e.g. The Company Formerly Known as Cingular -that little thing at the beginning is not an “X”, but an asterisk I think, or just a little anthropormorphic symbol, so I am not to say “X-Cingular” when saying the name.
