I am resurrecting this totally zombified thread I created wayyyyyy back when to point out one more piece of Mundane Pointless Stuff related to it:
I now curl at the Charlotte Center Curling Club. I’m no longer just a spectator any more! 
I started last year at a club in the suburbs of Boston. Had to move out west for a while starting in December, but I’m hoping to get back into it this season.
I have as much interest in curling in 2011 as I had in 2004.
If that sounds kind of harsh it was not intended to be. I was trying to work out if it was hockey or such before I even realised it was older than dirt.
If y’all want to talk about curling in this decade, feel free to start a new thread in the Game Room. I’m gonna put this one back on ice.
