Congress will kick the can down the road on health care

Even assuming that was my point, it’s hardly my fault either, since I’m no more a Republican than you are. :stuck_out_tongue:

So because something hasn’t been done before, it should be done now?

Technically, that’s not true. It’s pretty easy to be more a Republican than Der Trihs is.

No, I understand that you don’t think it’s an entitlement. But seeing as you improperly label UHC as an issue of entitlement (or rather, that you think it is an “entitlement” if people collectively decide to pay for X), your initial problem is one of conception.

That doesn’t even make sense. Do you care to rephrase?

You’re talking “ahistorical”. History is not the sole arbiter of what policies should be implemented.

You’re glad the poor will continue to suffer without coverage, your glad infant mortality will be higher here, you’re glad our economy will be saddled with a complex rat’s nest that costs 2x to 3x what it does in other countries and further makes American produced goods uncompetitive hurting the whole country.

In short you’re glad America screwed it’s self.

And you are said arbiter?

Where’d I say that? Oh, that’s right, I didn’t.

More importantly, WE THE PEOPLE, have determined that’s not a priority, at least for now. Your arguments otherwise are just tiliting at windmills.

Strange. I don’t remember getting to vote on it.

When was the vote for UHC? Oh, that’s right, there hasn’t been one.

…that was his exact point.

So WE THE PEOPLE really haven’t gotten to say anything about it, now have we?

So what? U lose.

What? Are you even trying to make a point here?

Also, health care reform is not necessarily stalled. But don’t expect anything much.

You’ve already lost, at least in the short term. Sucks to be you, I guess. Your whining about healthcare is just that, whining.

Yes, I expect she is. One of the prominent characteristics of the Right is malice; malice to the point of self destructiveness. Malice to the point of being willing to see the country harmed for their own self indulgence; look at all the people on the Right who want Obama to fail even if the country is ruined in the process.

As mentioned before, the current debate is not for a complete overhaul but for changes that will very likely include the option of a public plan.

This debate will take place very soon, this is not a done deal at all, and it is the Republicans who are the demonstrated whiners as their plan is the one that will go to complete defeat.

Now that really sucks.

And evil, and the hateful trash that supports it wins, for now. People like your are like you are just like malignant tumors of society opposed the workers rights movements of the early 20th century that established safe work conditions and fair pay.
