Congressional comedy gold!

This should be the link to the Youtube video.
(I can’t check it here at work)
Anyway, I heard most of the audio.
Pretty funny stuff. Give it a look-see and comment.
McHenry vs. Frank.
The root of McHenry’s ‘ammendment’ proposal goes back to protests over the minimum wage in Samoa debate.

Good times, good stuff. Should be a swell next couple of years. As long as we have comedy like this we can weather the storm.
Reminds me of an Abbott and Costello routine.

I dunno about teh funni in Congress. Foreign Affairs is going to be much in the news, and the new Chairman, Tom Lantos of California, may be the most gravely serious person on the entire planet.

Abramoff pushed for the same exemption in the Marianas.

I don’t see the Pelosi connection. It seems to me that the noise machine is busy flinging anything at Pelosi, to the point where I ignore it. I here her neighbor’s sister’s cousin’s babysitter used to work in Somoa. Therefore, Pelosi is guilty. Other’s are claiming Pelosi’s hubby owns a lot of Samoan stock, yet I haven’t seen any proof, just baseless claims. She’s the new boogieman. And nobody but the hard right is seeing her as that.

Sadly, it’s the same kind of shit, just flipped. McHenry didn’t read the bill, because there wasn’t enough time, and missed out of the debate. Frank smacks him down on procedure, something the majority has done for ages. And the Republican majority did to Frank himself. It’s petty payback. I hope they all get over it.

Not Funny. Sad. The Marianas are the only place in the US with slave labor sweatshops, who label their stuff “Made in the USA.” It must be stopped.
