The House Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing today about social media, with Twitter and Facebook execs testifying (Google didn’t show.) An attendee upset about Twitter something or other started ranting. Billy Long (R Missouri) is apparently a certified auctioneer and started up an auction chant to drown her out.
Any explanation why? I’m assuming they searched.
Saw that on the news this morning, made me LOL. Best comment under the YouTube video: “if I was there I would have made a bid” 
I’ve been to an event where he was a special guest auctioneer. The man is hilarious. I can guarantee you I am not a fan of his politics, but he is really quite a character.
