I’m trying to imagine what a textbook, say written 50 years from now, covering this past couple of years would be like, and the best I can come up with is that South Park episode about the origins of the Mormons, where they kept flashing, “All of this is true” at the bottom of the screen.

Wouldn’t it be fun to write a true and accurate history of this time we are experiencing in real time and locking it in a time vault that cannot be unlocked for fifty years. Makes you wonder doesn’t it??

If you consider total craziness to be the integral of instantaneous craziness over time, I’d say that Alex is well ahead. But MTG might well surpass Alex at some point.

I believe that Jones is in it for the money. He’s raking in money from the rubes. He has argued as much in court.

MTG is a true-believer; she’s one of the rubes. But she got enough other rubes to vote her into office.

Obviously MT Greene is beyond the pale.

But Kevin McCarthy’s constituents apparently agree with her calling for violence—otherwise they’d let him know that he needs to expel any member who advocates ‘beat[ing trans people] …into the ground’ (as Greene did in her interview with Alex Jones).

If they agree with McCarthy that the proper duty of Congresspeople is to call for violence, then let them own it.

I suppose I agree with her in that - yeah - that scum’s been cancelled out of my life. Seeing that she fully embraces them isn’t too much of a surpirse.
