You know how Republicans always accuse falsely Democrats of doing the things that they themselves are actually doing? Its almost 70 years late, but I think we have an explanation for McCarthy’s accusations of Russians infiltrating the government.
Nah. I think 70 years ago we could pretty much be secure in the knowledge that Republicans (and Democrats) were not likely to be agents of the Soviet Union. We hated their guts. But I admit that I’m still trying to adjust to a world where so many Republicans seem to love Russia today.
