Dodaro was taken aback at first by the question since it was so ridiculous, but he recovered and assured her that the money could not be used to buy curriculum. She countered that a single elementary school in Illinois received $5.1 billion to buy CRT materials.
$5.1 billion for a single elementary school.
That makes the claims about kitty litter boxes in schools seem credible by comparison.

There really is no real “work” involved in that job if you don’t want there to me. (and if you get kicked off committees). Good legislators do work hard, but no one is making them. Has anyone asked MTG “how many bills did you introduce?” or “How many hours did you spend in the office doing things other than surfing the web?”

Several of them need to go. Santos who lied to get into office, Gaetz for his criminal activities and bullying, AOC, the one from MI - part of “the squad”, Ilhan Omar from MN. Both sides need to clean house, end the circus, and get better politicians to pass legislation.

The most horrible things I’ve heard about AOC is her Green New Deal (which was a leaked draft never submitted to my knowledge, so who cares) and not knowing what a garbage disposal was until she was an adult.
Ilhan Omar is guilty of being a Muslim.
Surely those things are just as bad as the crimes and insanity of the Republicans they’re being equated with.
