Conservatives/Republicans do that so they can nutpick and tar the entire Democratic Party.
Liberals/Democrats calling them Republicans instead of MAGAs tars the entire Republican Party.
And these days you can’t really find any Republicans, that regardless of what they say, that are not MAGAs.

That I knew. It was all the gavel-whacking that made it sound that way. In a way it’s rather like The Onion writers complaining they can’t keep ahead of this administration.
“Exposing” MTG for lying is like exposing the sun for rising in the east.
OMG, I saw this on Jimmy Kimmel (or one of those shows) and thought the photo-bombing was made up. I was laughing hard when I saw it and now knowing it was real makes it even more hilarious. What a complete shit-show!
We have know for quite some time that they are nothing but a bunch of liars.
And now we have their response “So what if we are liars? What are you going to do about it?”
And our response has been to dig our toe in the dirt and say “Nothing”
I watched the video on a very small screen, so maybe I missed something. What did MTG lie about, and how did the other photograph refute the lie?
The picture she was showing made it look like the guy was making an obscene gesture with his middle finger. It had been cropped or edited to conceal the fact that, in the original photo, his index finger was also extended, and that’s what was in the other picture that the Democrat was showing.
MTG was chairing a committee hearing about keeping men out of women’s sports. She was asking the head of US Fencing some question and showed a photo of him apparently giving the middle finger. Stansbury noted the photo was cropped and in the real photo he was flashing a peace sign.

Okay, granted that the image was altered. But what gesture was he really making?
It looks like he was making what would be an offensive gesture in the UK (and other places).
Not a peace sign. That has palm outward, while he had his palm inward.
Plausibly, he was showing the number 2. But what would that signify?
I asked myself the same question. I think the “…And now we have their response…” threw me.
Regardless of the gesture he was actually making, she cropped it to look like he was giving the finger. Be cool if someone could sabotage her gavel.
