I’m quite cynical about her pleas for Trump to turn back to America First. My personal read is that she’s thinking she’s always been there for 47, so why isn’t she getting the influence and respect her support has earned her. Especially with her so-called peers.
If Trump granted her more power, attention, money, or a fancy important title, she’d quiet down, I’m quite sure. Of course, we’re back to the reality that for Trump loyalty is always one way. Not to mention, her persona thrives on conflict between her and others, and since everyone has more-or-less caved, she doesn’t have anything else to drive conflict forward, probably hurting her money earning possibilities and spotlight grabbing.
