Consciousness after decapitation [new title]

A person remains conscious for a few seconds after being decapitated? I don’t really see how this would be different than suffocating (losing consciousness and eventual tissue death from lack of oxygen), but am I missing something obvious? (I often do…)

The Master has spoke on this subject twice.

Rather chilling.

Sounds like the thrill of a lifetime.
Sorry.

Thank you. I didn’t see that the question had already been answered. :frowning:

Welcome to the SDMB, BewareTheLlama. I have changed your thread title from Is it true that… to Consciousness after decapitation. In the future please try to choose more descriptive titles.
