Do you, or have you worked in the construction trades? Let’s see if we represent enough trades to build Cecil a new ivory tower!
I’ve worked as a:
Sheet Metal Worker(aka,Tinknocker)
Pipefitter(aka,Pipedope or leaky joint)
Mechanical Const’n Inspector (aka, pain in the ass)
My husband is a genral contractor, and I worked with him and for him before we were married, and until I was pregnant.
UncleBeer, only if you also holler out totally useless and irrelevant “layman’s” suggestions now and then. The guys drinking beer on the porch across the street always do that.
Ahhhh, nothing like the Father-Son on site relationships. I can’t be in the same zip code when hubby and his Dad are (watch for the oxymoron) *working together * on a project. I can hear the looove they have for each other.
BTW, there is a general rule that if you are in the building trade ( carpenter, roofer, painter, brick mason, whatever) you usually have a substance abuse problem.
Administrative assistant - I’ll get the paperwork done!
I’ve also done some theatre set construction and painting - just don’t expect my work to last longer than an 8 week run, three performances a week, and be sure and give me artistic lighting!
