Hmm.
Supreme Beings of Leisure, Strangelove Addiction: - YouTube
Give it a minute. And three seconds. Fun.
Dirty Heads, “My Sweet Summer”
Living this Life by the Dutchess and the Duke.
Queen, “The Prophet’s Song”
Super!
But it dissolves into, “Love of my Life,” so he’ll just have to listen to both. There’s no other way.
I Wish I Was A Lesbian - Loudon Wainwright III
MiM
I missed the first round, so take one or both of them if you so choose
Punkadiddle by Mike Oldfield, a light hearted instrumental from the man who did the soundtrack to The Exorcist
Don’t look down from Lindsey Buckingham a great solo song from the guitar player and main song writer from Fleetwood Mac
At Least It Was Here (Theme from Community) by The 88
Crap! That was my round three submission!
“Jezebel,” Iron and Wine.
“Don’t Wanna See Your Face” John Butler Trio
Gotan Project - Santa Maria (del Buen Ayre)
FWIW, and maybe of interest to St. Louis folk, McDermott will be playing tomorrow night – TH, 8-6-15 – at Joe’s Cafe.
“Songs of Love” - The Divine Comedy.
Fans of Father Ted will recognise the tune which was adapted for the show’s theme tune. The Divine Comedy - which is basically just Neil Hannon and various hired help - were also responsible for “My Lovely Horse”, on which Hannon’s voice is heard.
That said, “Songs of Love” is a lovely (and funny) song in its own right.
Carbon Leaf - Let Your Troubles Roll By
Which I know only because Carbon Leaf songs score most of Curious George 2, funnily enough.
(late to the party, but I heart this thread so much)
Taken for a Ride - Tally Hall
Indian Ocean - Frazey Ford
A Bar in Amsterdam - Katzenjammer
Fishing - Richard Shindell
…there were four rounds right?
