Cooking Tofu?

So Mrs. Small gets off work in an hour, I know she’ll want something for dinner, and we bought some tofu the other night at the store (extra firm).
What can I do with it?
What are your favorite ways to cook tofu? I have cooked it once before but grilled it after marinating it all night…
Quicker ideas? are there any?

Marinating tofu doesn’t help, and believe me, I tried.
You can buy pre-seasoned tofu (my favourite is the smoked variety) but the easiest way is just cutting it in half-inch or smaller cubes and stir-frying it while adding soy sauce. The flavour seems to stick much better during frying then during marinating.

You’ll find some good advice here. I got 63 threads to show up in a search of the term “tofu” in Cafe Society over the past year.

Try this.
