Coolest movie props

I’d take the “last of the V8 interceptors” - see here

http://www.madmaxmovies.com/

The 1960’s Batmobile - the one that was built from a Lincoln Futura.

I’d like one of the prop guns from Logan’s Run, too. Actually, I’ve been thinking of building one. Relevant link.

Dr. No’s island would be pretty cool, too, but then I wouldn’t have anywhere to drive my Batmobile.

you can have the life-size (more or less) prop of the Alien (not Queen version) for less than 4 grand from certain Halloween suppliers, IIRC. me, i want a full-size Predator. unfortunately, they run about the same, price-wise.

but man, wouldn’t THAT be a kick to have in the front hallway. i’d actually look forward to visits from Jehovah’s Witnesses and the like.
well, well… lookee here. if your heart is REALLY set on it… they got yer Queen right here, pal. all 15 feet of 'er. (click on middle thumbnail in bottom row.) enjoy!

Thanks! I ordered two to be safe!

I just saw that the disco floor from Saturday Night Fever has been put up for auction - bid quickly, then you can impress the chicks with you Disco Stu-style moves…

I love swords, so I nominate Excalibur from a little known (outside the UK) rendition of the Merlin story (Sam Neil as Merlin) Or Gandalf’s sword. Or the reforged ‘shards of whossname’

Nigel Tuffnel’s amp which goes to 11

A lightsaber

Speeder bike

The sword belonged to Isildur, and was named Narsil. After its reforging, it was re-named Anduril.

Although the movie sucked, the Riddler’s light-up jacket from Batman Forever is intriguing.

The “1982 time machine” from Napoleon Dynamite.

One of the ray guns from Mars Attacks!

The No. 5 robot from Short Circut

Thanks,

But for some reason I got the word ‘elendir’ in my head after posting. What is ‘elendir’ (and did I spell it right?

Lobsang, that Merlin story gets aired on US television from time to time.

While you’re collecting swords, how about the Excalibur from the John Boorman movie Excalibur (the one with Nicol Williamson as Merlin). You could hang the pair of them on your wall, crossed behind Arthur’s dragon shield.

Conan the Barbarian had a couple of cool swords: the one forged by Conan’s father during the opening credits, and the one Conan took from the ancient tomb.

Oh, and you are thinking of Elendil, the first king of Gondor. Isildur was his eldest son. Aragorn was descended from Anarion, Elendil’s younger son.

Oops, I goofed. Elendil had two sons, Isildur and Anarion.

Anarion’s descendants became kings of Gondor. When their line died out, the stewards (Borimir’s family) ruled in their stead.

Isildur’s descendants became kings of Arnor. After Arnor was destroyed, they became chieftains of the Rangers. Aragorn was descended from Isildur’s line.
