What Movie/TV Prop Would You Love To Own?

I am talking about the actual prop from the movie, not a real life time machine or flying car or whatever it was supposed to represent and/or do in fiction.

Which prop from a movie or TV show would you love to have at home?

Red Ruby Slippers from Wizard of Oz?
The Ring from LOTR?

So, assuming money was no object and you could buy any single prop from a movie or television show, what would you want?

Any of these.

If a set counts as a prop, I’ll take the full-size Firefly set.

If not, probably a type II phaser from Star Trek TOS.

The Maltese Falcon.

Pee Wees bike from Pee Wees Big Adventure.

Movie. Duh.

Well, the first choice still stands, since the rebuilt the set for the movie.

So, if not the set, I’ll take the chess table from the Millennium Falcon. I know it doesn’t do the thing, but it would be cool.

A pod from 2001. No space for it, but it would be cool.

Forest J. Ackerman lived this fantasy. I visited the Ackermansion 35 years ago, and he had display cases with stuff like Bela Lugosi’s cape from Dracula and pieces of the original King Kong.

The sandman’s Weapon, from Logan’s Run. It contained a carbide lamp mechanism, and shot real flames from the muzzle. (I have read that they were temperamental little beasts, and often burned the actors.)

Glamdring or Anduril, from Lord of the Rings.

The Maltese Falcon.

The medal that Bela Lugosi wore around his neck, when he played Dracula.

Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory equipment, both Universal and Hammer versions.

The hula lamp from Joe Versus the Volcano.

Also, the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

Zoe’s sawed-off lever-action rifle from Firefly/Serenity. Coolest weapon of all time.

leg lamp.

Hugsy the Bedtime Penguin Pal

The map and/or doubloon from The Goonies.

Apparently, the item I would most like is actually listed online from its previous auction: a rod puppet of the ALIEN creature used in the third movie. Not only am I big fan of the movies, but having an articulated puppet makes it much more interesting than a static prop.

I would like my very own Tom Servo.

Second choice: the “motion lantern” with the witch designs from Sleepy Hollow.

The Gump from Return to Oz. It’d match our other furniture very well.

and Ming the Merciless’s ring from Flash Gordon.

I dunno – there’s a lot of cool props, but I think it would be ultimately disappointing to get it home and find out your cool sci-fi blaster is really carved from a piece of foam hot-glued to an old hair dryer and covered with sparkly bits and knobs from antique stereos.

Wouldn’t mind the Delorean from BTTF, though.

Speaking of rides:

James Dean’s Merc in Rebel Without A Cause
Steve McQueen’s Mustang in Bullitt

Rosebud
Bond’s Wather PPK
Indiana’s whip

Barbarella’s Orgasmatron

The General Lee

The Bat Signal

Jeannie’s Bottle
