What Movie/TV Prop Would You Love To Own?

The TARDIS. The full-size one, from Ten’s era. (Not the interior set–the police box.)

Also, Gene Wilder’s purple jacket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

(I see the title of the thread says movie/TV show, so I’m not sure why people are complaining about TV items. Maybe it was changed after the fact…)

Also speaking of rides: The last of the V8 Interceptors from Mad Max.

The Major Award from “A Christmas Story” would look great in *my *living room window, too. Too bad it got broken.

A Nautilus scale model from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Disney version)

Adding to my wish list:

Prince’s motorcycle from Purple Rain
The hotel-room sized monolith from 2001

I believe you would also need the Book of Armaments in order to use it properly. For example, what number should you count to before throwing it? How would one know?

The map from Time Bandits
The floatplane from Raiders (if too big - how about the grail from the 3rd movie)
The six fingered sword? The wheelbarrow? something from Princess Bride
The Cyclops? Some model from a Ray Harryhausen movie

Brian

Harold Chasen’s Jaguar (after the customization). Alas, it no longer exists.

Indy’s whip is a good choice. I’d also like a phaser from ST:TOS and a crysknife from Dune.

Mulder’s “I want to believe” poster from The X-Files. Or Mulder.

Yeah, I think I read that it was so popular that many copies of it were stolen over the years of production.

One of the original light saber handles from the original Star War movies. I’d probably pick Luke’s, the one that Han uses to cut open that beast in Empire.

Some of these you can have, you know. Profiles in History, out in Hollywood, is the leading auction house for Hollywood memorabilia. Indy’s whip sold recently for only $114,000. Practically petty cash: you can dig it out of the cushions of your sofa. The online catalogues are fun to go through.

Does anybody else remember King Of The Rocket Men?

Check out all the toys. The flying suit would be my pick!

Good one. Also, the headpiece of the Staff of Ra would be sweet.

Oh, that really cool thing Billy Campbell wore in The Rocketeer?

Jennifer Connelly

Sauron’s helmet from LOTR

R2-D2.

Ben-Hur’s chariot.

Steve McQueen’scut-down rifle from Wanted Dead or Alive

Marshal Dillon’s badge.

A Batmobile, any vintage.

ETA: Kwai Chang Cain’s uniform from Kung Fu

It isn’t the original but Christmas is coming up so there is no reason for you not to have one for yourself.

Some of Ray Harryhausen or WIllis O’Brien’s monster models, that they used for stop-motion effects.
