Do you think putting coon urine along my fence line will keep my dogs an my neighbors dogs from digging underneath the fence?
Someone’s gonna misinterpret this.
I would expect that to encourage them to dig underneath the fence. My dog digs like mad where she smells potential prey.
In my experience the only thing which discourages dogs from digging under a fence is to bury heavy wire fencing there (I had a dog who would dig through buried poultry netting). Or, sheet steel should work. Or concrete.
Last time I build a dog enclosure for the wolf hybrid I used to own, I put a 2-foot “skirt” of wire mesh on the ground on the inside, attached it to the fence with hog rings, and staked the inside down every two feet with tent stakes.
