How do police figure out who’s the victim and who’s aggressor? I was wrongly accused what can I do?

I Am Not A Lawyer but I’d think that you should get a lawyer and ask them.

Questions involving legal advice belong in our In My Humble Opinion forum. I will move this thread for you.

As the forum name implies, any responses that you receive there are just the opinions of some folks on the internet, and should not be taken as the equivalent of professional legal advice.

Moving thread from General Questions to In My Humble Opinion.

As is obvious to probably everyone except the OP, it is impossible to give an opinion given the lack of detail.

As a general rule, the police will conduct an investigation of the situation. They will question both of the people involved in the fight (I assuming this was a fight). They will question any witnesses at the scene. They will also examine the physical evidence.

If it’s not clear who was the perpetrator, the police will probably arrest both fighters. The DA will then decide if there is sufficient grounds to charge both people. Whoever gets charged will have a trial to determine his guilt or innocence.

So if you’re wrongly accused and arrested, you will still have opportunities to defend your innocence.
