Cord cutters? What is the best aggregator?

I have like half a dozen live tv guides, including Youtube TV and also HDHomeRun through Plex.

I don’t think there is anything that can aggregate everything yet, but what is the best right now? I’ve tried reelgood.com but it doesn’t have an app for Roku which is my primary device. I also have a Google Chromecast with Google TV, and I recently read this: Google’s Chromecast to get free TV channels - Protocol

I like Roku better right now, just because of the remote (Google uses bluetooth so I can’t use a universal remote).

I have a little cash to experiment with… I just want the best setup.

I’m a big fan of Firestick. Plus it works with my Alexa which is cool.

Firestick also supports surround sound.

My setup is the same as yours, Dad.

I can’t speak about anything but my little Roku stick, which gives quick and easy access to Netflix and Disney + (I am subscribed to both). I have to “change channels” (input port) on my TV to access my Google Chromecast, for YouTube.

I’d use Firestick but am hesitant to sign up with yet another “media giant” such as Amazon. In fact, one of the attractive features of Roku is the fact that they’re not hounding me (as Amazon does) to get more content. Nor are they listening to me (as Alexa does). I have issues with this level of invasiveness.

I have had Tivo Stream and now Firestick - Firestick is far superior. The Wi-Fi chip in Tivo seems to die rather quickly.

I used Kodi on a Firestick before, but I don’t know if it is the “best” app. I remember it being a little fiddly getting the TV guide and everything set up correctly, and sometimes you have to look for plug-ins. But it works and you don’t need to sign up for anything (except paid services; the Netflix plug-in will ask for your Netflix account, and so on)
