Is there a title for someone that is ‘officially’ acting in behalf of a recently closed corporation, such as the former president and sole shareholder of a small business?
What is the purpose of the title? For a resume?
What reason would a defunct entity need a representative?
If it’s for a resume, the “former” title is unneccesary. It would normally be shown as a past role with specific dates.
I don’t quite get what exactly the question refers to. If it’s about somebody who is in charge of a corporation in bankruptcy proceedings, the word you’re looking for might be liquidator or receiver, even though these are legal terms and not corporate nomenclature titles. The question states that we’re talking about a company that has already closed, so I don’t get what sort of corporate roles this defunct company needs for somebody “acting on its behalf”. If all you’re looking for is a way to describe the functions somebody performed while the company, now defunct, was still active, then I’d go with Omar Little - just use the same title that was used while the company was still trading.
