I’m listening to the olympic coverage on the radio. The radio station has a very vague grasp of the truth. They said Australia is the only country with corrugated iron. Is that true? There must be corrugated iron in use somewhere else. Does anyone know of anywhere?
They’re probably just referring to cliched old images of outback houses with corrugated iron roofs (which used to be common, and could be impressively loud in a hail storm). I can’t think of a country that doesn’t produce corrugated iron.
I thought corrugated iron was common on house roofs and verandahs, not just toilets.
I knew that radio station was dodgy
